Warranty Information

We are confident that you will appreciate the audio performance and build-quality of our products. Our goal is to build products that you will appreciate for years to come. All Benchmark products are robustly engineered to last a lifetime.

Electronic products are backed by a 1-Year Warranty and an optional 2-Year or 5-Year Extended Warranty.

• Factory-direct purchases in the USA and Canada are automatically upgraded to the Extended 5-Year Warranty.
• Factory-direct purchases outside of the USA and Canada are automatically upgraded to the Extended 2-Year Warranty.

30-Day Risk-Free Trial (Factory Direct, USA Only):

With our 30-Day Risk-Free Trial, you can audition Benchmark products in your studio or home listening space with no obligation other than shipping costs.

Qualifying Orders:

• Order subtotal must exceed $700.
• Order must be shipped to an address in the USA.
• Order must be placed Factory Direct using one of these methods:
• Online orders must be placed at Benchmarkmedia.com
• Phone orders must be placed at 1+800-262-4675

Exclusions and Limitations:

• Shipping charges (if any) are not refundable.
• Customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance.
• Up to 15% restocking fee will apply if the unit has cosmetic damage.
• No refund will be issued if the product has significant damage.

30-Day Trial Period:

• The 30-day Trial Period begins when the product is delivered to your address.
• Returns must be shipped to Benchmark before the end of the Trial Period.

Excluded Products:

The 30-Day Risk-Free Trial excludes the following products:

• Custom items and special order items
• Re-manufactured products
• Refurbished products
• Used Products
• Demo Products
• Closeout Specials
• Trade-In and Trade-Up programs are limited to a 15-Day Risk-Free Trial

RETURN POLICIES:

Note: If you did not purchase your product directly from Benchmark, please contact the Benchmark Dealer where you purchased your product.  Dealers set their own return policies and dealer policies may be different than ours.

RMA NUMBER REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

An RMA (return merchandise authorization) number, issued by our Customer Service department, is required for all exchanges. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the exterior of the packaging.

Return Policy for 30-Day Risk-Free Trial:

• Products must be shipped back to Benchmark within the 30-day Trial Period, and must be in like-new condition.
• An RMA (return merchandise authorization) number will be issued by our Customer Service Department upon request. It is required for all returns.
• The RMA number needs to be clearly visible on the exterior of the packaging.
• Products must be shipped to Benchmark Media Systems, prepaid, insured, and in their original shipping carton.

Small-Order Return Policy (Orders under $700):

• Unopened, unused items may be returned for full credit within 7 days of delivery.
• Shipping costs are not refundable unless item is defective.
• No returns after 7 days.

Non-Returnable Items:

• The following items are not returnable unless defective:
• Refurbished Products
• Remanufactured Products
• Demo Units
• Custom Items
• Special Order Items
• Closeouts

If defective, these non-returnable items must be exchanged within 7 days from the date of delivery. Defective products must be shipped to Benchmark Media Systems, prepaid and in their original shipping carton. Please contact us for an RMA number.

RETURN POLICY FOR INTERNATIONAL SALES:

No returns on direct sales outside of the USA. Defective products may be exchanged within 7 days from the date of delivery. Defective products must be shipped to Benchmark Media Systems, prepaid and in their original shipping carton. Contact our Customer Service department for special instructions specific to your country. 

Secure Checkout:

For your protection, Benchmark uses Payment Providers that provide secure processing of credit card numbers and other methods of payment. Benchmark does not store and cannot view or retrieve credit card numbers, expiration dates, or security codes (these are collected directly by the Payment Providers at the time of checkout). Our Payment Providers include Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Amazon Pay. Payment Information is only used to collect the payment for your order and to issue refunds.

For your protection, we cannot add additional charges after you place an order. If you forgot to include an item, give us a call and we will create a new order for the additional item. We will waive the shipping charges on the second order if both orders can be shipped together.

Special Notice for California Residents:

The following warnings apply to all products available from Benchmark Media Systems, Inc.:

 The wires of this product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

 Hazardous substances may be released or produced if this product is shredded, incinerated, or placed in a landfill. Recycle all electronic devices using a reputable electronics recycler.
