Benchmark and Martin Logan collaborated to put together a system that was focused on transparency. Each component was selected for its low noise, low distortion, and wide frequency response. The goal was to create one of the most transparent systems ever assembled. The signal chain included the new Benchmark DAC3 B D/A converter, the new Benchmark LA4 line amplifier, and a pair of AHB2 power amplifiers. The amplifiers were configured for monoblock operation and were driving the spectacular MartinLogan Impression ESL 11A electrostats. I hope that room 670 provided you with an opportunity to experience this remarkable system! I always enjoy seeing the look on people’s faces when they listen to a song they’ve heard a million times but are now able to hear a whole new layer of detail! I hope you had this opportunity in room 670.

The ultimate test is to try Benchmark products in your own listening room with your favorite recordings. Our 30 day in-home trial can provide you with this opportunity without the rush of a trade show.
