Benchmark has introduced several new products in the past 12 months:

• At CanJam NYC for the first time the new DAC3 B is the latest addition to the award-wining DAC3 family. It is specifically designed to compliment the HPA4 and the new LA4, but has many other applications.

• At CanJam NYC for the first time the HPA4 headphone amplifier was introduced summer of 2018. But, due to its ground-breaking performance, you will find it being used by many headphone vendors at this year's show.

• Resonantly announced - The LA4 is our newest preamplifier. This new line amplifier is an HPA4 without the headphone outputs.

• New to AES - The HPA4 headphone amplifier is new to AES. It was introduced in April 2018.

XFI Show - Veldhoven, Holland

Helios Pro Audio Solutions demonstrated Benchmark AHB2 power amplifiers and DAC3 Preamplifiers at the 2017 XFI show in Veldhoven, Holland. The show ran September 30 through October 1, 2017.

Three days before the official launch, the DC Hi-Fi Group got a sneak preview of Benchmark new DAC3 HGC D/A converter!

The group members took turns listening to the DAC3 using a variety of headphones. Several members had brought their favorite headphones and they got to try them with the new DAC3 HGC. The new D/A converter received many compliments from the members.

Celebrating Our 33rd Year!

Benchmark began in 1983 as the "Benchmark Sound Company", a small operation working out of a garage in Garland, Texas.

Our founder, Allen H. Burdick, began by building very high-performance audio equipment to meet the specialized needs of television broadcast facilities. The company quickly grew, and was incorporated as Benchmark Media Systems, March 5, 1985. Benchmark expanded into additional audio markets, and relocated to Allen's hometown, Syracuse, NY. To this day, all Benchmark products are designed, assembled and tested in our Syracuse facility.
