The default settings show the stereo output into 8 Ohms.
Select "Bridged Mono" and "4 Ohms" to see the maximum 4-Ohm bridged-mono output power for the AHB2. This maximum output power will be achieved at an input level of 20.1 dBu (reduce the input level by entering 20.1, then hit "Calculate").
Note: If the input parameters would cause clipping, the results show the maximum un-clipped output, and the "Amplifier Headroom" window will read "Amplifier Clipping!". When this occurs, reduce the "Input Level" to achieve an "Amplifier Headroom" of 0 dB.
Click "Read Full Post" for an advanced calculator which calculates SPL at the listening position when using an AHB2 power amplifier.
