Benchmark is excited to return to Capital Audio Fest this year for another awesome show! This year we have partnered with Martin Logan to showcase our AHB2 and DAC3s. You can hear the compact power the AHB2 is able to produce as each of the 5 AHB2 amplifiers will be driving a Martin Logan speaker as a monoblock. You will be immersed in the music hearing every detail while the 5.1 surrounds you and transports you back to the recording studio.
You are not going to want to miss this amazing 3 day event in our nations capital!
"For the past 7 years, Show Organizer Gary Gill has produced an exciting high end audio show in the Washington DC area, offering the best in high end consumer specialty audio including new products and technologies that a few people who live and work in this high tech area have introduced. On November 3rd - 5th, the Capital Audiofest returns to the Rockville Hilton with a newly expanded and exciting show!
Last year the show had 48 rooms on 2 floors and this year the show has grown to 60 rooms on 3 floors and the newly renovated atrium level. Many of audio’s favorites along with many new brands and exhibitors will be present.
Returning this year is the “CanMania” headphone event on the main floor in the huge Plaza ballroom as well as some newly opened “Quiet” rooms. Also note the newly opened Marketplace in the spacious Atrium between the 1st and 2nd floors and includes vinyl vendors, analogue accessories, AV furniture and more, all of which will be prominently on display with many exhibitors offering Show specials and discounts.
Capital Audiofest will have a full schedule of seminars, guest presentations and even live music on Friday and Saturday nights in the bar and auditorium. Speaking of the bar – two local distillers will be offering Tastings on Friday and Saturday evenings: Twin Valley Distillers of Rockville MD, and McClintock Distilling of Frederick MD. Come by for a taste."
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."- John 15:13
David Paul Siau - June 25, 1983 - July 17, 2022
McKenzie Joy Siau - December 30, 2020 - July 17, 2022
On the evening of July 17, 2022, my oldest son David Paul Siau gave the ultimate sacrifice of love when he knowingly gave his life to save those he loved. He took three shots from a 12 gauge shotgun so that his wife, children and sister could be spared.
David is survived by his wife Christy Siau and their two oldest children, ages 6 and 3. His 18-month old daughter McKenzie was killed within moments of David. I have no doubt that David and McKenzie entered into God’s glory hand in hand.
My daughter-in-law Christy Siau was shot and nearly killed in the incident. We are grateful that she is now out of the hospital making a full recovery.
In the end, my daughter Christina Siau fought the attacker with a knife and prevailed. She sustained many knife injuries and it is a miracle that she lived. She is now out of the hospital and making a full recovery.
We ask your prayers for the healing of physical and emotional scars. We have been overwhelmed by the love people have shown to our family during this difficult time.
