Bridged Mono Mode Delivers:
- Almost 4 times the power
- 6 dB higher output
- The ability to use shorter speaker cables
- Very loud playback capability (typically 116 dB SPL)
Stereo Mode is Better When:
- Cost is an issue
- Speakers are not rated for high power
- Listening room is small
- Loud playback (typically at 110 dB SPL) is more than enough
In Either Mode:
- Noise will be 15 to 17 dB below the threshold of hearing
- Amplifier THD+N will be below the threshold of hearing over the entire power range
- Sound quality will be identical at every power level up to 100W
